The Advertising Campaign for P3 starts later this week... hopefully we can pull in some more readership from the masses of the internets!

Wrapped up the main storyline in Nostalgia for the DS last night.  Great game, if not a bit on the easy side for a JRPG - not that I want to get kicked in the face during every fight, I just want some danger in there - and I'm looking forward to exploring the rest of the game.  Apparently, there's a good deal left to do even though the story if finished and you can get the characters ultimate weapons and armor now, though that seems a bit odd to allow you to do so AFTER the main boss, but still.  Perhaps there are some hidden bosses in there that are actually worth their salt and you need some super gear to take down.  We'll see.

I don't remember if any of you remember a game for the Genesis called General Chaos but I spent so much time with that game back in the day and it still remains one of my favorite and most played ever.  While playing some Valkyria Chronicles over the weekend (on chapter 5 of 18, great great game so far) the pieces finally clicked and I got into a flow with it after getting myself handed to myself repeatedly and it dawned on me that I was playing an updated version of Chaos.  While some of the game play elements are certainly different given that it's almost twenty years later, the basic structure reminds me so heavily of the game that it's quickly climbing the charts as something I'm going to have a really hard time turning off.  Such a great game and totally worth the twenty dollar entry fee.  Pick it up if you have a PS3.

Season five of West Wing.  Not bad, not great.  Hopefully it picks up, but it's still better than most of the crap on television.  Speaking of (though not on television), I'm going to do my darndest to see 2012 today.  I require SFX Porn.
